Safety is a top priority during our treatments and you can rest assured knowing Innate Therapies is doing everything possible to maintain a hygienic and safe work environment.
Innate Therapies have attained the COVID-19 Infection Control Training Certificate provided by the Government for health care workers. See certificate attached below. Innate Therapies Geelong also have a current COVID SafePlan in place.
Along with additional screening questions, you are also required wear a face mask and sanitise your hands before entering our clinic. Your temperature will also be checked on arrival with a contact-less thermometer and your therapist will also be wearing a face mask.
A mask not only is an extra precaution, it's also a reminder to stay hygienic and mindful during this time. Giving both clients and therapist an added peace of mind. Face coverings are helpful to stop droplets spreading when someone speaks, laughs, coughs or sneezes.
**Please note much of the below information is straight from my Association 'Massage & Myotherapy Australia'.

Regional Victoria COVID-19 Update on Latest Requirements from my Association 'Massage & Myotherapy Australia'.
Beginning at 11.59pm on Sunday 2 August, a new State Government directive will require everyone who lives in Victoria, including regional Victoria, to wear a mask or face covering when they leave their home.
This means that massage therapists and their clients in all of Victoria will be required to wear masks during treatment unless they have a lawful reason for not doing so.
Below this page are some images illustrating the additional methods that Innate Therapies utilise to stop the spread and to remain as safe and hygienic as possible.
To date, we now have formal confirmation from all states and territories that remedial massage and myotherapy are deemed essential services within Stage 3 Restrictions. However, Remedial massage therapy and myotherapy are not registered health practices and hence are not considered an Allied Health or medical service under the Stage 4 Restrictions. The status of this is subject to change as new Department of Health directives are released and revised.
We hope you are all well and keeping safe during these times.
